    Due to severe weather the SDC refuse service is suspended today. If it’s your collection day please bring your sacks back in until next Tuesday. And rest assured SDC won’t be ticketing cars abandoned due to the severe weather until the weather improves and drivers can move them safely.

  • Highways update

    Kent has been experiencing extensive problems around the county last night with some major roads totally gridlocked (M2/A2, M20/A20, M25/A25, A21). All of the county’s gritters were out treating primary routes and all standby staff were assisting to clear roads and attending to the many incidents that were reported.

    Go along and try the Health Walk which starts from Otford Car Park every Monday at 10.30am. The walks last normally about an hour. The walks are free and are organised by Sevenoaks District Council. There is no need to book.
