Have your say on our next community plan’s priorities and the issues at a series of road shows in the coming weeks.
The Community Plan sets out the District’s aims and priorities for the next 15 years and is delivered by the District and County Councils, the health service, the police, the fire service and housing associations together with voluntary groups, businesses and faith communities.
We will be out in the District talking to you about your views and inviting you to find out all about the Community Plan and contribute to its aims at the following locations and times:
- Saturday 13 October at Swanley Leisure Centre from 10am to 12.30pm and at Swanley Library from 1pm to 3pm
- Tuesday 16 October at New Ash Green Library from 10am to 3pm
- Saturday 27 October at Sevenoaks Library from 10am to 12.30pm and at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre from 1pm to 3pm
- Saturday 10 November at Edenbridge Co-op 10am to 3pm
Cllr Peter Fleming, Leader of the Council says:
The Community Plan shapes not only the District but the services that operate within it. Your views really do matter. They will help us to shape services in the District by identifying your priorities for action. I would urge residents to visit the Council’s road show to get involved and have their say.”
You can also have your say by completing a short questionnaire at www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/communityplan2012. In addition, everyone who completes the survey can enter a free prize draw to win £50 of shopping vouchers. Full terms and conditions can be accessed on the survey.
